3 Lickety-Split Ways to Infuse Your Business with A Little Moolah

  1. Offer a one-off session at a below-your-normal retail price. You’d be amazed how many people will take you up on a session for $50 or $100 when there’s no longer term commitment. I know that, for some coaches, this runs counter to the idea that coaching results are really achieved through longer-term relationships. I respect that point of view. AND I also know that you can do A LOT for a person in just a short 30 minute session. So–reach out to your list of special people and make this offer!
  2. Call past clients and invite them to enroll in a tune-up group coaching program with you. Sometimes, all people need is a little “pick me up,” especially when it’s cold and chilly and dark out (like it is in the northern hemisphere right now!). A 4 session group coaching engagement (once per week for a month) to tune up those life navigation skills they learned while working with you in the past is enticing! And they get to make some new friends in the process by participating in a group. What a gift to provide them with this kind of support for the long haul!
  3. Reach out for referrals. Call friends and colleagues in similar “helping” professions (think therapists, counselors, etc.) and ask if they have any clients who might be a good match for working with a coach. Of course, they cannot give you names directly (due to confidentiality) but you never know…planting the seed with them may turn up a new client in NO TIME!

I train, coach, and consult with individuals, teams, and organizations on how to be more effective communicators, build stronger workplace relationships, and create greater trust between leadership and "the rest of the team." The outcome: safe and innovative environments that encourage productive conflict, see high levels of engagement and committment, and create unparalleled results.
