A Powerful Exercise to Try

My brain is about to bust open. This has been one.helluva.week.

When I list it all out (which I encourage you to do…we are “doing” more than we realize), I think to myself: “what I don’t get done in a week!”

Do this exercise for yourself–it’s powerful.Inspire

Here goes mine…

-Brought on three new clients. Always good.
-Met with financial advisor and got REAL about retirement savings (it’s a pincher!).
-Talked with building manager at Bloomington house to discuss maintenance issues that need to be addressed; hired a painter for the exterior of the house (ouch…$$$).
-Participated in my first IMPROV show (I’ve been in an 8 wk class that ended last night in a performance for family and friends). SO. MUCH. FUN. I think I might do Level 2.
-Hosted 12 coaches at the Dream Bank on Thursday morning and facilitated a 90 minute session on business building. It was a hit, so we’re gonna do it again in June (interested coaches–PM me if you want more details).
-Met with Miranda (my asst) and we are putting the final touches on the new website (due out by April 1). The final details are SO NOT MY THING, let me tell ya.
-Spoke with a potential client about hosting a retreat in June for a group of 90 people…am trying to put my brain around how I might bring some painting into the mix of this one. Logistics are a bitch.
-Three regular client meetings, all of which went REALLY well. I am liking that I no longer take on more than 6 clients at a time. Gives me a chance to really get intimate with those I work with (because I have the time and energy to do so).
-Finished the book “Someone Knows My Name.” It was a tough read (emotionally).
-Bought new pants, a replacement part for my espresso maker, and snacks for Vivian’s school party.
-Binge watched Season 7 of Nurse Jackie (it’s what I do on the treadmill each day and it’s a TOTAL escape).
-Met a former client for coffee who told me that her work with me changed her life (she now has a thriving business and has hired 3 new employees in the last 2 years…queue up my Kleenex–my heart is FULL!).
-Conference call with two of my DiSC buddies, one in Alaska and one in NC, and brought them “up to speed” with what I learned at the conference in San Antonio last week.
-Attended a webinar about LeadPages (coach friends–this is my new fave tool).
-Phenomenal Women meeting, where I was reminded of some brain research on happiness (and how to use compassion and gratitude to cultivate it).

What I can’t get done in a week!  Whew!
