I remember early on in my coaching practice, I had A LOT of these kinds of statements running around in my head and heart:
I’m just feeling lost.
I just need someone to bounce some ideas off of…someone who KNOWS about running a coaching business.
I just wanna figure out “what next?” and have confidence that I’m doing it RIGHT.
I wanted NOTHING MORE than to have some fairy godmother sweep in and save me.
That never happened.
What did happen: I sought out real-life resources to assist my learning, my growth, and my confidence. Coaches, gurus, experts…anyone who could assist me was my savior. I was like a sponge, soaking up any and all information about what it takes to do everything from set a vision and mission for my company to how to use software to run a webinar. It was overwhelming.
What I really needed help with was parsing things out, figuring out what I needed to do next, making a plan. I wish I would’ve had the current ME back then, someone who’s “been there,” who “gets it,” and who could wisely AND lovingly help me find my way.
